The creator of Resident Evil and the Evil Within has done it again. Shinji Mikami announced on stage at the Bethesda 2019 E3 Showcase that Tango Gameworks being his studio is releasing another horror game. Everybody expected him to say that they are releasing the Evil within 3, but you know what? It is called “Ghostwire Tokyo” this is the title for the latest supernatural IP horror. After this announcement by Mikami, the creative, adorable, and Tango studios enthusiastic director Ikumi Nakamura clarified that this particular game is different. This horror game is not about survival. “Ghostwire” is all about the mysterious disappearance of people happenings in Tokyo. It is then left for you to discover the reason for such a horrible occurrence. There is not much to go on with right now, but you can check out this teaser at the end of this article.
Description
Ghostwire-Tokyo is a game that depicts the strange and mysterious disappearance of people in Tokyo. This occurrence hit the population so hard that it is left to you to unveil the very source of such evil. Not only that, you have to purge the city of Tokyo of this latest strange evil. Since you are armed and equipped with your particular spectral abilities, it is your mission to face down this occult.
You also need to expose the conspiracy theories related to it. As you combat this evil, you are going to come in contact with urban legends which you have never experienced before. This particular horror game is going to give off the traditional adventure feeling. It focuses more on puzzle and mystery solving instead of fleeing for your life from monstrosities that are after your blood.
However, you will still get plenty of action from this new game since the game is action-adventure packed. You the player will have to combat paranormal beings. As you journey throughout the game, you will come in contact with many different spirits. Some of the spirits are good while most of them are not quite good.
That is; as you are trying to find out the reason behind the mysterious vanishing of people into thin air.

Overall, Ghostwire is not a horror game that focuses on survival instead is an action-adventure, although with certain horror elements. It shows a world that is in disarray. The city of Tokyo is riddled with supernatural evil, and as the player, you have a mission. Your mission is to rid the city of these paranormal beings that is making people to vanish into thin air mysteriously.
Your motto is “do not be afraid of the unknown instead; you should attack it”. So what is your verdict? This game is quite promising and a must-have. Do you feel the excitement yet?
